Trying out our new little boat

Since we have our good sized ponds near our house, we decided to get a small inflatable boat for some family boating time (and possibly some fishing).

We tried it out yesterday.  It was fun, but a little too hot this time of year.

Family Fishing In Our Neighborhood

While Angela was out of town, the kids and I decided to go fishing.  We have two good size ponds in our neighborhood that are supposed to have some decent fish in them.  Unfortunately, we didn't get to see them.

Tucker Turns Six

We posted this a little late, but we celebrated Tucker's birthday last month with the Mattys' at Chuck E Cheese's.  We played games for about an hour, then we went out to lunch together.

Afterwards, we came home and enjoyed Tucker's Minecraft ice cream cake.  Tucker continued his tradition of choosing cakes with little ice cream cones on top.

I think everyone had a great time.

We were invited to our community pool on the 4th of July (ordinarily renters aren't allowed) Savannah was brave and jumped off the diving board multiple times

Carson jumped a lot too!

4th of July

We went to the Mattys' house for the 4th of July. We had a BBQ and went out to the street for some fireworks

Gunda is on the left, and her son Logan is on my left. We were happy to have Michelle and Haven come for a visit all the way from Washington

Cub Scout Daycamp

about 7:30am, just before leaving for camp that day. It was a 5-day cub scout daycamp, held at a church building about 20 minutes from our house. It was from 8 - 2:30pm every day.

I don't like posting this picture of myself, but it shows the wonderful outfit I had to wear for 5 days straight. The wonderful look of tennis shoes and socks with capris, and a super large men's bright green shirt. The kids look great!

Tucker and Savannah got to go to the Squires group, this is something she made that day. They got to go on a lot of the same activity rotations as Carson did.

Here is Carson with his knight helmet and shield he made at camp. He had a good time and he got to complete a lot of Bear requirements! We all had a great time.
