He Said It!

I gave Tucker some juice today and he said very clearly, "I like juice". Wow. Amazing. He speaks so much more than Carson ever did at this age, so it's cool for me to hear a 2 year-old say clear sentences like this!

Star Wars Ship Motor

Carson wanted to show you all this spaceship lego creation.

First Day of School, Ever!

Here is Carson as we're walking out the door on the morning of his first day.

And there he goes. A lot of parents went with their child to the classroom and took pictures, etc. It was a zoo! I had talked with a teacher last week at Carson's assessment and she told me it was fine to just drive up and drop off and drive away, so that is what I planned on doing. I figured I would be waiting in a line to let Carson out, but turns out most parents were parked and already by the classroom. So I got this picture just as he is walking to his class. He had a good day, and he likes his teacher, Miss Bennett, and is excited to go back tomorrow. Yay for school!

Beautiful Blue Water

We went to south lake tahoe on Sunday to visit with some family who were staying at Camp Richardson. The water in Lake Tahoe is so beautiful and blue. It wasn't very cold, either, which was surprising. The boys actually went swimming and had a good time playing on the beach.

Tucker is 2!

Well, for today, I thought Tucker really deserved something special for his birthday, so I took him to the doctor and they gave him a shot……

No, really. That is what happened.
The boys had their yearly checkups today and it just so happened that Tucker needed one shot, so he got one. Poor guy! Oh well, we basically celebrated his birthday on Sunday.....

Here is a book Grandma Bea and Grandpa Gene gave him - he really likes the books with sounds.

He just sat by himself in the doorway and was looking through the book, listening to the music.

So I guess he had a good time! Happy Birthday, Tucker!

Carson rides with no training wheels!

Until I can figure out how to load a video on the blog, you get some pictures. Granted, they aren't of Carson actually riding his bike without the training wheels, but this is what I have right now. It only took him a few minutes to get the hang of it and he was riding around just fine! Yay!

Ok, here is a short video of Carson riding.

This one was taken by Carson; really good, I just wish his head wasn't cut off. Thanks to Christina for letting us borrow her cool cart to play with!
